Location
McIntosh Thomas, a tract situated on both sides of the Oconee River, is approximately 30 miles east of the City of Macon. Smaller cities nearby include Oconee and Toomsboro. The tract is south of Highway 57.

- Adjoining Beaverdam Wildlife Management Area & other Georgia DNR managed lands
- The Nature Conservancy has identified approximately half of the property on the conservation acquisition wish list
